The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates welcomed the decision issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, based on the directives of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to cancel the decision to prevent Emirati citizens from traveling to Lebanon, and to allow them to visit as of May 7, 2025. The Ministry stressed the importance of this decision, which was issued following the visit of the President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, to the United Arab Emirates, which strengthens fraternal relations and advances them for the good of the two peoples and the two countries. The Ministry also looks forward to continuing to strengthen Lebanese relations with all Arab countries, given the historical ties, affiliation, and common destiny between them and Lebanon.
